After a couple months of heavy thinking we have decided to close the brick and mortar portion of Virginia Ross Vintage Company. Recently, it has become increasingly more difficult for us to keep any normal business hours. We are constantly on the hunt for great vintage furniture and home décor and we are continuously missing out on opportunities to obtain great pieces due to the fact that we must hurry back and open the store. We do not want someone to run the store for us. It’s simply a personal decision. We want to be there for all transactions for the company. We have been working very hard for a month and have developed a very user-friendly online store. We will be heavily maintaining all social media outlets. After a careful search we have found a climate-controlled facility in Riverside where we will be storing all of our pieces. We can arrange for all pieces to be picked up locally in Jacksonville at the facility or you can view it there and we’d be happy to deliver it to you. If you follow us and you do not live in Jacksonville we have made accounts with several shipping companies that can facilitate delivery of any size item we have.
The brick and mortar portion of the store just wasn’t for us. We loved meeting new people and staging the store. But the real passion for us is finding pieces. We have simply decided that is the part of the business we want to solely dedicate ourselves to.
Therefore, we will be closing the store at the beginning of August. We are currently liquidating our inventory. We would like to start fresh with the new direction we are taking Virginia Ross Vintage Company. Thank you so much for everyone’s support over the last two years. We really feel like there is much more to come.
